We at Fusion-X LAN have been on the low down lately, but we're certainly not gone. Here and there we've been trying to get whatever we can to act as a server. A server for our games and FTP would help make the LANing experience more enjoyable for the FXL attendees. Well, we're getting something!

So, what's under the hood? AMD Opteron 246 (2.0 GHz, 1 MB L2, 64-bit). Add another for good measure (yeah, that's dual Opterons!) MSI's K8D server board, 2 gigabytes of DDR 3200 ECC, and 400 GB RAID 0.

Currently we're looking for a new place to have LANs at. Places in the past have became less accessible, so we're looking. We've also got some new equipment! A rack that's currently under the knife which will hold the switches and hopefully a server soon. Next we got a big 32'' TV for console games and/or a movie. We hope to have another LAN soon, so keep an eye out for the date!
